In my own life, the people I knew who were the most loving were people who believed the Bible and actually obeyed it. The others were the kind who acted loving when they felt like it, and acted treacherously when they decided they were tired of loving. All I can do is realte my own experiences.

Secondly, there are plenty of people who call themselves Christians who don't really follow the Bible. The Catholic Church of the middle ages was not based totally on the Bible, so I don't think you can blame some of their unfortunate acts on real Christianity. To be called Christian, it has to be in line with what Christ and his apostles taught in the New Testament.

Yahweh can go to war when he needs to, but He never does that before giving the human a fair chance. And he WANTS you be saved.
