2 Chronicles 25-27

More kings who do what is right in the eyes of the lord and still come to a grizzly end at his hand.

But they weren't doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord....

The "grizzly end" only came after they messed up. For example, Uzziah in chapter 26 was 16 when he became king and followed God and God made him great. After HIS name became well known, he started to step out of his place and began offering sacrifices (only a priest could do this). Uzziah's pride got the best of him and when the priest confronted him, Uzziah got mad so God plagued him with lepersey. Pride was the fall of most kings, prophets, preachers, and tele-evangelist.
