Isaiah 42-44

The man that God has chosen to spread the word will not publicize himself or shout in the street (so all those street preachers and self publicising pastors are definitely not chosen)

Because God chose Israel and they are special, he's going to sacrifice other nations for the sins of Israel. I'm not sure why anyone has to die for these sins, but why a bunch of people who weren't lucky enough to be chosen.

Ah, so that's why people walk through fire to show their faith, because God said that the people of Israel could walk through fire and not be burned.

Wait, is God supposed to have only made the people of Israel and none of the other people on earth? He calls them the people he created for his glory and says they belong to him, this would sort of make more sense of why he picks on Israel. Aside from the fact that when a people creates a god to worship they'll obviously say that they are chosen and special to him and that when terrible things happen to them they'll put it down to annoying that god.

Also you would say bad things about the gods of other people to make your own god seem better by comparison, but then when you claim every natural phenomenon as being caused by your god there isn't much left for their gods to do.

When God says Israel he means the whole world. He chose all of us to spread his word which is the same as showing his love. Its not just words he wants us to preach, its the example we show others that I will love that person no matter who he is or what he does. He chose you, you are Israel brother
