I sit, I think, I focus on my breathing, and any thought that comes up, I accept it and let it go. It's especially good when I'm feeling sick. I recognise anything that my brain comes up with as pure thought, brought on by quiet, and let it go. It's really interesting.
I don't mean to be ~angry~, but I can't stand being looked down upon for being a "non-believer". I get defencive. I react. I'm tired of being called lawless and uncaring because I'm an atheist, or I'm accused of having no morals or ethics for the same reason.
