Acts 14-15

In a city where the people follow the ancient Greek religion they start calling Barnabas and Paul Zeus and Hermes because they heal a man. The people bring sacrifcies and want to start worshipping them, they don't have much luck trying to convince them that they are worshipping mere human mortals, but a group of Jews manage to turn the crowd against them and Paul is nearly killed.

A debate is held about whether circumcision is required to be saved. James says that they shouldn't cause extra difficulty to those who turn to God, but they should be told in a letter to follow the rules against idols, sexual immorality and for kosher slaughter.
