1 Thessalonians

The Thessalonians had such a reaction to being taught the gospel that its influence has spread without the leaders having to do any more preaching in some areas. Religion goes viral!
Paul treated the Thessalonians like children when he taught them God's message.
Paul has many nasty things to say about the Jews.
Paul had to leave Thessalonica and Satan wouldn't let him come back. I guess this makes them feel special because Paul was willing to try battling Satan to get back to them.
Paul has sent Timothy to make sure they don't get shaken or tempted from their new faith, as they are apparently suffering for it and Satan is probably trying to tempt them away from it.
Rejecting Paul's instructions for behaving like a good Christian is not rejecting human authority but rather rejecting God himself.
Looking forward to God coming and raising the dead Christians and then taking up the living ones is supposed to be an encouragement to the new Christians.
