More of the typical anti-humanity attitude, Paul has some very negative things to say about living according to 'flesh', an example is that he says that the outlook of the flesh is death, but that of the spirit is love and peace. And that the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, why did he bother making it then?
Paul attempts to justify the fact that his new religion considers the Jews not righteous, even though God apparently chose them initially. Apparently they were trying to attain righteousness by following the laws rather than just having faith.
