Job has decided that he deserves his punishment, and his rather gruesome afflictions, because he may have at some point not been quite nice enough to someone he was superior to.

Date: 2010-07-18 04:20 am (UTC)Yes it can be confusing but maybe u want to try and read Job in one sitting. Sounds terribly long I know but if u read it like a "story" it won't be. U will get the whole picture and bettet understand the reasonings. Initially the Bible was not devided into chapters and verses in any case. It was done in order to make referencing and finding your place in the Bible easier. Hope this helps u. Don't be discouraged. Perservere. You will c it as u read on. And I shall be praying 4 u.
