More about Moses...

* I have a vivid image of Moses running screaming like a girl when God turns his rod into a snake, well it made me laugh anyway

* This God character is so inconsistent, he tells Moses to ask Pharaoh to free his people and that he'll harden Pharaoh's heart at the same time, so predictably Pharaoh makes life more difficult for Moses' people rather than freeing them and now God is going to punish Pharaoh for treating them like that. But God was the one who hardened Pharoah's heart!! Way to punish people for things you made them do.

That verse is being misread and many make the misconception.

It doesn't mean God did that to his heart. That means its the effect God had on his heart.

For example. If you put bacon on the sidewalk in Arizona in 110 degree weather...you get hard bacon.

But do that to an ice cube and you get water.

The sun didn't actually DO that to either one proactively but it is the effect that it had on them.

So....

I hit the wrong button....sorry.

God had that effect on him because his heart was prone to being hardened, not softened by hearing about God.

Which...is not really a shock given he wasn't someone who believed or followed God.
