Psalm 55: God will smite your enemies, and will save you, aren't you special

If the Psalms are as old as believed, the history of godlessness extends back at least three thousand years. Unbelievers may have kept their doubts in their hearts, since to do otherwise tended to give them the unique opportunity of being sacrificed to the very gods in which they did not believe, but we may be absolutely certain they existed.
