Esther 6-10

The king has the advisor who advised him to kill all the Jews hanged and then orders that the Jews kill all the people who had been ordered to kill them.

The Jews have a feast and a party to celebrate this about turn, and lots of people convert in fear.

You're never too far from a massacre in the bible.

The massacres show the result of sin in the world. God wants us to love our neighbor as ourselves, but people don't do that. As a result, you see unfortunate things happen, which the Bible gives many examples of. But God ultimately accomplishes his purpose no matter what man tries. He protects his people.
