Job 40-42

God is describing monsters, fire breathing(?) monsters. But whatever it was it convinces Job that God is great and then God gives him back twice as much stuff as he had at the beginning.

I'm not sure you require faith in a God that pops by for a chat (not blind faith anyway), in fact Job says that it is the fact that he's seen God that has convinced him to take back any of the mean stuff he said.

And so Job lived to 140 and had a great rest of his life, glad it turned out OK in the end...

if your perpose for reading the bible is to prove that God is not real then your wasting your time. Sure it's easy to look at the sky and say it's blue, but say your friend tells you the sky is yellow, you can tell him till your blue in the face that the sky is blue but if he wants to see it as yellow then you can't change his mind now can you, not even with all the evidance right there in front of your face and you know for a fact that it's blue, he simply refuses to see the truth.
God is a mersifel God and loving and as we punish our children for disobeying so does he. You can look at it how you want but the truth is the truth your only lying to your self when you choose not to beilive.
john 1: 5 the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
Next time you read the bible say a prayer that God will give you understanding, then see what happens.
