Psalm 82: Continuing the theme started in 80 & 81
Psalm 83: OK, I get it, God will smite enemies of those who follow him without question, I'm just not sure I know why this is a good thing
Psalm 84: God, who is the sun and a shield, has houses that this guy would prefer to be the doorkeeper of than to dwell inside a wicked place

Persever to the end. Really study Jesus. Do not base our faith in Him on us (the church of believers in Christ) base it on Jesus. Judge His message not our failures in following it.
Back to 85.. Psalms. Read it again. It is not the outcry of someone saying "God is mean" it is someone saying God show us Your will. We want you. We know You are faithful and perfect. We suffer. We do not say you are unworthy of praise because we suffer, we still praise you!
