More of Jesus' predictions about the end of the world, certain people will just disappear and fire and sulphur will rain from the sky, it'll be just like when everyone was destroyed by the flood in the days of Noah (a total myth?).

You have to pester God to get what you want, you have to be humble to be exalted, and also as blindly trusting in God as a child would be in its parents.

Chapter 17
Those who disappear are those who will be taken in the rapture (believers taken to Heaven prior to the tribulation and apocalypse).

The reference to the days of Noah talks about a time when people were exceedingly wicked and God knew they wouldn't turn to him, so he took the believers and hid them away for a period (seven days) and then judgment came. In the end times, the rapture is expected to happen seven years prior to the judgment of the world.

Chapter 18
Perseverance, pays off. God sometimes asks us to be patient and have faith. If we don't persevere, we may miss out on the reward. It isn't about pestering God, but about persevering.

Humility is a more proper stance if we acknowledge that we all sin. Those who claim to be righteous, like the Pharisee in verse 11, are lying to themselves because they too have sinned. God wants us to be honest with ourselves, and with God.

Children do indeed trust their parents, and (under normal circumstances) with good reason because their parents know more than they do and want the best for their children. In the same way, God knows more than we do and wants the best for us. God will provide that if we offer that trust.

with reference of Noah, how many children are actually wicked until god has to kill all the babies? but then again, god is the ultimate, so if he says babies are exceeding evil (crying or need milk?), must kill, who is to say cannot,,,,,

so if you are "saved", rupture came, trumpets blown, you are having sex with your wife, you tried to look decent and get dressed before you meet your master, suddenly the door is closed, you missed the rupture train.

so next time, whenever you do, look out for the rupture trumpets.

I read somewhere in some christian schools, they have the rupture drill (like fire drill). They will ring a certain tone and students will go out to the open and went for the rupture "UFO" from the sky? Are they still practising that?

I know of no Christian school, nor have I ever heard of any christian school having a "rapture drill." Even the concept of having one seems ridiculous. After all, the idea of the rapture is that it will be a surprise instantaneous happening. No drill could prepare you for it.

evil babies

The unfortunate result of our sins as adults is that our babies become collateral damage. This is obvious by the negligence and abuse suffered by millions of children on a second by second basis right now, right now, right now... . This damage is not inflicted by God but by our own hands. You might say, I have never struck, molested, or neglected a child but are we negligent in assisting children at risk? Jesus said, "That which you do to the least of your brothers, you do unto me."

Can a child be evil? I don' think so, but I do know that while a child may have to suffer the consquences of our sins here on earth, God most definetly provides the very best for them in His kingdom.
