Acts 27-28

Because of Paul's appeal to go before Caesar, they have to take a dangerous sea voyage to Italy during the winter storms. The ship ends up run aground and everyone has to swim for land, which turns out to be the island of Malta, where they spend the winter (Paul gets bitten by an apparently poisonous snake and everyone is surprised that he survives). Eventually they all make it to Rome and Paul spends another two years preaching under loose house arrest, apparently not going before Caesar (a long waiting list?).
