Ok, I'm all for treating people equalling and fairly, but if you worked for 12 hours and someone else worked for 1 hour you would be well within your rights to complain if they got paid the same as you for the whole day, equal in this case would be the same amount per hour worked. The unions would love Jesus.

Jesus hasn't got the power to grant shotgun rights to anyone who wants to sit next to him in heaven.

Jesus decides to make an entrance when he arrives at Jerusalem, riding on a donkey with crowds shouting his praises and scattering branches on the road. He then evicts the market set up on the steps of the temple because they are defiling his house of prayer.

Jesus gets unnecessarily annoyed with a fig tree that happened to not be bearing fruit, he curses it and it dies. If he hadn't evicted the market traders then he could've had a meal and not been so hungry that he was moody.

Jesus asks the leaders some riddles in parable form because they questioned his authority, their answers seem to condemn them. They want to arrest him but fear his groupies.

Actually I was very solid in my disbelief before I started and I've just got stronger and more certain that there is no God as I've read the bible and the comments I get.

Regardless of your beliefs, you can't change the fact that you are the product of millions of years of evolution, descended from apes and that when you die you are just gone.

Hello i hope you are doing well. First I appreciate your sincere comments regarding Jesis and the Bible. I understand that logically speaking it may npt make stem but christianity is a relationship with God. It is ftom the heart and as mentioned in the Bible. God chooses to reveal himself to people. Men can teach you pr show u Gis but it is ultimately after assessing you that He decides when it is right for Him to come into your life. I am a little sad to see some of the comments left by some believers here. The Bible teaches about love, compassion and patience so they shud not be so harsh in their comments. J
I apologize to you in their behalf.
However i was wondering what your purpose may have been to read the Bible. To discover God? Build a relationship with? Or where you rather attempting ( maybe unconsciously since u said to be open minded) to see whether the Bible had enough arguments for God compared to those against? ormaybe deep within you want to be proved wrong about Him not existing. You may say that it was your curiosity that led you to read it but as a believer i know it is God. nothing proves that God doesn't exist but theamy wonders of earth, what we call nature, the complexities of the human organism, medically documented miraculously healing beyond doctor's expectations ( i worked with the nih n heard about such cases. Yousay we come from apes. My question to you is where do apes come from? Scientists talk about the big bang and evenif that was true where did that come from? The universe, why is it like that? The stars where and how did they come aboyt?sure we know why the heart is important, why the sun is hot, what stars are made of, and why we have brains legs and such but my question is where do all these come from?
Do mot get me wrong. I am not trying to say that science is evil. Medicine, doctorsand such existed during the time of Jesus. also, look onto proverbs it does say that with people will begin to doubt or in ur case refuse to believe as they become knowledgeable avoyt such matters as sign. In any case it would have been nuce if you had staryed by Romans. Also if your objective is to understand christianity and why Jesus, o highly recommend tbat you check the alpha course collection nicky gumbel. He was an atheist known throughout his college years because of his dissertations and thesis agaonst christianity. He approaches christianity both intellectually ( which I believe is best for you) emotionally and biblically. The good thing is that the course (10 short very entertainig- you will love his stories as an atheist lol). His audience includes believers and non beliecers. I just finished the course some weeks ago. Some churches may offer it. It is not church but u can look at it as theology in a way. So i have talkwd too much. Sorry. I hope u check out the course and if u do let me kno n we can discuss it. Trust me as a christians i sometimes have questions myself and moments of doubts. We ate all human after all. Ob another note it is snowing here!!!! Surprised me. All looks so magical its like there is a melody in the air :) anyways I digress it is 2:17am and shall go to sleep now.
