Psalms 108-114

Psalm 109: These are some nasty things to be asking God to do to an enemy
Psalm 110: God will fill places with the dead bodies of heathens
Psalm 111: OK, back to praising God for his great works (which I guess includes smiting enemies)
Psalm 112: Great things will happen to God fearing men and the wicked will be jealous
Psalm 113: The Lord's name is to be praised during the day, does this praise stop at sunset?
Psalm 114: Sounds like someone is on something and hallucinating skipping mountains and hills

Date: 2010-08-13 06:50 pm (UTC)However, I'm a life long atheist though so apart from my state mandated religious education at school I haven't really read the book before.
I'm not sure I'm getting a better perspective, nothing has particularly surprised me yet.
